You know how it is when you’re looking for food and you want something that has that perfect balance of taste the hits all the right spots? Oh man. Best food on the trip. We will come here every time we’re on the island. 100%. Mac salad. A Tacos A This is the standard of taste everyone is shooting for. Most fall short. This place crushes it. Great staff too.
Great little place. One of those small hole-in-the-wall spots that are easy to miss. We had the two taco plate and out came this plate of food easy enough to feed two people. Prices were great for the quality and quantity of food. Staff was great also This is not the Hilton dining room, it's a place where people go to find good food and regular people. Mahalo!
So, there is this guy, Bruce. He met us at the door ( we got there before the crowd ). We chatted for a few minutes- like new friends. We ordered a Ono taco plate. BOOM. The tuna mac and house slaw are outrageous. The fish tacos slammed! The portions are generous and the smiles from the guys on the grill make the food personable! We have this little gem saved as a definite for a return visit ! Local treasure! ( one of the tacos is missing in the photo )
First time here. Came with my two adult kids and sister-in-law. We all got the same thing - the Famous Two Taco Plate - Grilled Cajun Ono Fish with Aioli. It was fresh, delicious and filling. We opted for garlic fries, and it's a lot of garlic, so make sure you like it! Super good, I would definitely come back.

Stopped on a recommendation. The best decision made. Tacos are so delicious and flavorful. The filling is packed. We had both fish and shrimp tacos. The coleslaw used on the tacos is amazing. Quick service but the not lots of seating. Wait staff is so friendly and helpful. You do get your money worth..
Amazing! My family went here on vacation and were blown away by the food, service, and simplicity of this restaurant. It was truly excellent. The owner was kind as we walked in and we were tended to immediately- he was very respectful, friendly, and helpful. The vibe in that place was out of this world! I recommend the Hawaiian sodas (which the owner recommended for us) because they are exceptional and have no sugar! We were able to sit wherever we wanted and the interior was great. Our food was ready quickly and it was delicious!! The food was very fresh and there was so much of it. After we finished, the owner thanked us for coming and gave us stickers! Favorite affordable restaurant in Honolulu. We’re coming back!! Would totally recommend.
This was the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was so unreal. The mahi-mahi was absolutely insane. The cabbage slaw that was on top of the tacos was heavenly. I will be dreaming about this going forward 1000%. You need to go if you’re staying in Oahu, it’s super close to Waikiki. Best tacos in in an Oahu. You must try the Mac-nut pesto if you go!! Gluten free friendly
